Windermere Cruise Service Announces Relaunch Date

WINDERMERE’s Shepherds boat sales company has announced that it will continue its popular charter service.
The boat sales company is expected to return to the water in June and continue its charter service on Windermere, which has been in operation since 2015.

The company has also partnered with a long-established Mallorca-based charter service that offers three new boats; two Princess motor cruisers and an Oyster sailboat.
Managing Director Darren Grundy said: “Our charter business was actually put on hold in 2020 and we had to drastically change the format of the service due to Covid. So we are delighted to announce that we will now be operating a superb boat. open day classic – a 1972 Colombo Super Indios 18.

“It is currently being maintained and prepared and we hope to welcome our first customers in June.
“Charters are proving very popular for weddings, proposals, birthdays, anniversaries and with couples or small families looking for a private tour.
“We are actively looking to integrate more boats into our charter fleet and due to the open framework we expect to be able to continue to operate under most Covid restrictions.
“We are open 7 days a week from our offices in Windermere Marina Village, and can be reached daily from 9 am to 9 pm.”
