PRINCE Harry uses an ultra-exclusive VIP airport service that took him in a gas guzzling Chevrolet on his trip from London to Los Angeles last month, according to a report.

The Duke of Sussex – a passionate advocate for environmental causes – reportedly used The Private Suite, which is described as “the most VIP way through the airport”.

Members sign up for £ 3,250 per year and pay an additional £ 2,500 per trip – but can exit the plane through their own private stairs before other passengers.

They are then picked up in a private SUV and taken to a private terminal where they can collect their luggage and pass passport control in isolation, the Mail on Sunday reports.

On the Private Suite website, the company describes itself as a ‘private airport experience’:

The company is run by Gavin de Becker – who is said to be responsible for the safety of Harry and Meghan at their pad in Montecito.

The Duke needs extra security due to his celebrity status – and has flown British Airways flights before.

ECO-WARRIOR

Harry’s alleged use of the SUV comes despite having spoken out against the dangers of climate change in the past.

Earlier this year, the Duke warned the problem had to be addressed “at the source” and said it was “quite depressing” that the United States was “on fire or under water”.

He told the podcast “The Me You Can’t See: A Path Forward” that the world needed a “moment of judgment” after the pandemic, noting that he believed climate change was one of two. world’s most pressing mental health issues. .

In 2019, he told a group of young people at SSE Arena in Wembley to ‘wake up’ and take action ‘on the damaging impact our lifestyles have on the world’.

But it was reported that the Duke had rented a private helicopter just two days before the event, with the Friends of the Earth charity urging him to “consider less carbon-intensive modes of travel.”

Meg and Harry also sparked allegations of hypocrisy in 2019 when they were seen aboard a £ 20,000 private jet to stay at Elton John’s French villa the same year.

Meanwhile, a source told The Mail on Sunday that the Duke had spent with the “rich set of LA” in California, including “owners of big business, jet-set types with private planes.”

The source added, “He spends time in Malibu, Montecito and Beverly Hills.

“Harry seems really relaxed being the star in the room. He’s usually the only famous person at parties he goes to, and it seems like he’s the one who pleases him that everyone is flocking to.
