Daisy says things got complicated with Ashley after Gary
BDSYs Daisy Kelliher explains how her relationship with third stew Ashley got complicated after learning that she and Gary shared a kiss.
The new season of Sailboat under the bridge just got started, and Daisy Kelliher shares how things get messy after she and Ashley Marti kiss Gary King. Daisy and Gary worked together on BDSY season 2, and the two had a strained relationship. Daisy, who is the chief stew, asked for more help from the deck crew. First Officer Gary didn’t want to overburden his team and didn’t offer to help inside as much as Daisy wanted. The boaters bickered throughout the season and although they ended it amicably, they weren’t the best of friends.
Surprisingly, in the BDSY season 3 trailer, fans saw Daisy and Gary share a steamy kiss in the Parsifal III hot tub. Gary was also seen kissing two other women, one of whom was third hostess Ashley. The kiss between Gary and Ashley happened in the season premiere, on the first night of the team meeting. Boaters relaxing and having a drink after a long day before starting the charter season. The third stewardess, Ashley, told Gary he was in her age range and moved in for a kiss.
Margaret shared with We Weekly that the messy love triangle caused problems between her and Ashley. Daisy said she had no idea Ashley and Gary shared a kiss on the first night so she didn’t feel like she was “walk on toes” when she and Gary met. She said the difference between her and the other girls was that she was open about the kiss, while Ashley was more secretive about it. Daisy revealed that things had “more complicatedwhen she found out about Ashley and Gary’s kiss and hinted that it had caused a problem between her and Ashley.
Ashley already showed signs of resentment in the first episode when Daisy cast Gabriela Barrigan to be the second stew. Ashley confessed to the cameras that she was competitive and wanted to be number one in everything. Looking back, Daisy admitted We Weekly that she didn’t realize it was “the minute all the trouble starts happening.” She describes herself as being “inattentive” and didn’t realize that Ashley felt slighted. Daisy defended her decision by saying Gabriela was 10 years older than Ashley and had more life and work experience. However, she praised her stews for their hard work and talent.
Daisy and Gary recently teased fans by posting photos of themselves on social media together at Disneyland, hinting that they were dating. Gary jokingly made a video of him and Daisy together telling fans that they were indeed a couple. A few days later, Daisy set the record straight and said they weren’t dating and were just friends. BDSY season 2 should have taught Gary that boatmances are complicated, and hopefully this love triangle between him, Ashley, and Daisy doesn’t get too complicated in Sailboat under the bridge season 3.
